Tips for relaxation
After work, people with children have virtually no free time. Nevertheless, relaxation is very important for parents, both within their partnership and for themselves.
Consciously treat yourself to relaxing moments
Even if everything isn't finished yet! Your to-do list can manage without you for a while.
Plan your enjoyment and treat yourself!
It could be something to snack on during the drive home that you're looking forward to. Or a movie you'd like to watch once the children are asleep?
Make a date with your partner.
Plan a romantic evening. Cook together in peace and quiet when it's bedtime and enjoy your candlelit dinner.
Make your purchases easily online
So you don't waste your precious time in supermarkets.
These things are waiting for you at home - This is what's blocking your relaxation
Housework is a daily, but tedious, chore. Laundry always needs to be done, and grocery shopping is unavoidable. It's perfectly normal for housework, cleaning, and cooking to be part of your everyday life—unfortunately, there are probably many things you still have to do after the children are already in bed. But you can still do something to ensure that these tasks no longer block your relaxation. For example, consciously set aside one or two days a week that you declare as housework days. You can then use this evening for ironing and tidying everything up. You should quickly break the habit of doing housework every evening, as this interferes with precious time spent with your partner. Relaxation is something that needs to be learned. Everyday life shows that you, too, need to find peace and take care of yourself again.
