Alce Nero Terra di Bari Bitonto PDO extra virgin olive oil, Protected Designation of Origin, is a blend of the Cima di Bitonto and Coratina varieties grown in Puglia, near the city of Bari. The olives are harvested by hand in the autumn months and processed using the cold extraction method, then the olive oil is filtered and bottled. It has a green color with yellow reflections, a medium-fruity aroma, a slightly bitter and pungent taste with a hint of fresh herbs and almonds and is a strong and full-bodied oil. UseSuitable for grain soups, meat dishes and grilled vegetables. Very good also on a slice of toasted bread.
